How do I Get One of These Cool GiftCards?
Register online (see “New Customer – Register Here” at left side of the site). Fill out the online form and it will be mailed to you within 5 to 7 business days. You or the gift recipient must then activate it (see below).
How does the Business Bank GiftCard Work?
The Business Bank Gift Card is a prepaid Visa card that carries a fixed amount determined by the giver at the time of purchase. Each time you use your card, the amount of the transaction is deducted from the balance of your card.
How much does a GiftCard cost?
The total cost for each GiftCard involves the card denomination, plus a small service fee. The service fee includes FREE first class shipping. Fees are as follows:
- $10-$250 denominations - $5.95 service fee per card
- $250.01 - $500 denominations – $7.95 service fee per card
How long does it take to receive my GiftCard?
GiftCards are normally produced and delivered within 5 to 7 business days. Please note that GiftCards cannot be sent to international addresses.
Can I have it sent directly to my gift recipient?
No, it must be sent to you. But either you or the gift recipient can go online to activate the GiftCard.
How do I (or the gift recipient) activate the GiftCard?
Simply select either of these options to activate your GiftCard:
- Visit www.MyCardEx.com Click on “Activate Card.” Enter your 16-digit Card Number followed by your Access Code. Press the “Activate” button
- Call CardEx Customer Service toll-free at 1.888.801.3770 to speak with a live Customer Service Representative.
What if my GiftCard is ever lost or stolen?
Immediately report a lost or stolen card to CardEx Customer Service @ 1.888.801.3770. You can call 24-hours a day, seven days a week. A replacement card will be sent to you, minus a reissue fee of $9.95 that will be deducted from the card balance. Please review the terms and conditions that arrived with your card, for additional information.
How long can I use my GiftCard?
You may make purchases up to 12 months after the card issue date. However, a monthly maintenance fee of $5.00 will be accessed beginning in the 13th month after the card issue date, and continuing until the remaining value is depleted or until the expiration of the card.
Can I reload my Business Bank GiftCard?
No, the card cannot be reloaded.
Can I use my card at an ATM Machine?
No, you cannot.
How can I check the GiftCard balance?
Pick either of these easy ways to find out how much spending splendor is in your future:
- Visit www.MyCardEx.com Click on “Card Balance.” Enter your 16-digit Account Number followed by your Access Code. Press the “Check Balance” button
- Call CardEx Customer Service toll-free at 1.888.801.3770. You’ll be connected to the 24/7 automated service or you can opt out of the automated system to speak with a live Customer Service Representative.
What if there are still funds available when my GiftCard Expires?
We’d be amazed if you didn’t use the entire card amount before the card expires. There’s so much you can do with your GiftCard. However, if you still have funds available, you can either request a new GiftCard or a refund check. If you request a GiftCard, we will issue a new card and mail it to you with the remaining balance on your account – minus a Re-issue Fee of $9.95. If you choose to receive a refund check, your remaining funds – minus a Check Issuance Fee of $25 – will be distributed by check within 4-6 weeks.
